RS amordi regullikruvi käib vastu raami

Igaks juhuks infot neile, kellel nt poploc variant ja sarnane raaminurk

I have seen pics of both forks and frames damaged by the lack of clearance between the adjusters and the downtube. This problem is not unique to the Reba. Some older frames have issues with Whites and Mavs. Don't think most folks are looking to do bar-spins, just peace of mind that their frame/fork won't be damaged in a fall.

Here are a few suggestions for those having problems...
1) Use a headset with a taller lower stack height. You may gain 5mm by headset selection alone: Cane Creek S-8 is 12.3mm, King comes in at 13.7mm, Woodman is 18mm. Cane Creek makes a special tall lower cup for S2/6 (I'm sourcing one now - will let you know specifics soon) - not sure how tall it is, but looks big (see pic). This is available as a lower cup only - just substitutes for lower on S2/6 headset.

2) The SL version of the fork with the internal gate valve adjustment (have to use allen wrench to adjust) is shorter than the Pop-lock or manual lockout versions (both with the little brass knob). With the external adjustment, the height of the manual versus Poplock knobs are the same. If you have the later, you may be able to convert to the internal adjust - not sure of parts requirements. If you've got the external adjustment, you can set the gate valve and then remove the brass knob. This will buy you a little bit of room.

Speedgoat have the workable Reba top cap lowering kit in stock. Turns out you need to replace the whole damper, but it's not so bad, and it certainly is easy to do (just unscrew the old one and screw in the new one). Looks like it buys us enough room to just barely clear our Asylum frames (shown), but most importantly, there's much less chance you could damage either frame or fork with this lower profile top cap system. You have to lose your remote switch, if you have one, and those of you who do will also have to pick up a "Standard Knob" to manually adjust, but you'll have a Reba with top caps that sit much lower, and chances are this will let your smacking Reba clear your downtube.
