Course de la Paix

I am interested in the Course de La Paix.

Are there books , in Estonian or Russian , still available in Estonian sportantiquariats about the Course de la Paix ?
I am especially interested in the period from 1948 to 1986.
Are there any books about Rihko Suun and Aavo Pikkuus ?
Were Repp Iffert and Jan Klassepp Estonian ?
They rode in the Soviet teams in 1968 and 1969.

Correct spelling for the names you ask are:
Jaan Klaassepp
Peep Jöffert , the name gets really distorted when transcribed through Russian language ( was most active rider in 1968)

IMHO there is no book about Riho Suun.

However, there is a recent book 120 aastat jalgrattasporti Eestis (120 years of cycling sports in Estonia) http://www.apollo.ee/product.php/0838949
which covers all the major highlights of Estonian cyclists.

Thanks for info and links , sorry about the spelling of the names of Estonian riders , I got them from a Polish source ie Estonian > Russian > Polish.

If anyone on the forum has articles , books , foto`s etc etc about the Course de la Paix in any language , please contact me via PM , I am interested in all material on the C dl P in the period 1948-1986. The first Soviet team in the C dl P was 1954.

Was Ivar Fels Estonian ?

He rode the CDLP in 1983 , he was badly injured in this race , he crashed in a sprint and was run over by a motorbike from the race direction , but Kapitanov ( Soviet coach ) did not let him retire from the race.
